MARCH 8, 2012 - 3 Session class - REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Have you always wanted to know how to improve your handwriting?
Learning the Italic-Hand gives students an edge on lettering and this form of calligraphy is a great way to express your creativity.

This class is three 2-hour sessions which explore the broad-edge calligraphy pen.
Class sessions are intended for beginning students and are a suitable refresher for intermediate students.

CLASS 1 - MARCH 8
Become familiar with the calligraphic broad-edge pen. Proper angles and pen grip.
Homework: Border treatments.

CLASS 2 - MARCH 15
Alphabet lessons - lowercase letters.
Homework: Alphabet necklace.  

CLASS 3 - MARCH 29
Uppercase & Punctuation lesson.
Homework: Alphabet sentences. INT students will pen a quote in a proper layout.

COST: FREE- Supply & Handouts fee - $20
This class is made possible through a grant offered by the Irving Arts Board.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
