Mini Book Madness

Description

If you love accordion books – this is a class for you. The Concertina book structure is very versatile and this class will explore that versatility making 4 – 5 small folded books. These books are sculptural enough to be shown with photos in them on a shelf or mantle. But they also close up flat to be stored away as a precious treasure. Paper sizes will be sent ahead of time so that you can precut your paper and boards. Kits available if you register by May 15, 2021

Supplies

$40 kit fee –
Kit contains pre-cut papers, ribbon and boards for 8 mini books.
If you do not want to buy the kit, instructor will send you measurements for the boards and books which will need to be cut before class.

In addition to kit students will need:

• Bone folder
• Needle point awl
• White linen thread (not waxed)
• Scissors
• Glue stick (large)
• Old catalog or scrap paper for gluing on
• Metal Ruler
• X-acto knife with sharp blade
• Small cutting mat
